St Francois, MO (February 24, 2022) – One teen was left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in St Francois on Tuesday morning, February 22. At around 2:45 a.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on South Fleming Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a 2018 Ford Explorer was traveling east on Ste Genevieve Avenue in pursuit of a 2018 Jeep Compass near South Fleming Avenue. The Jeep went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. The Ford then went off the road and crashed into the 17-year-old male driver of the Jeep.
The teen was injured in the accident. EMS transported the victim to Parkland Health Center Farmington for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
