St Louis, MO (February 7, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the St Louis area sent one man to a local hospital with injuries. At around 11:45 a.m., on February 6, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 270.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2010 International SA525 was stopped in lane four of southbound Interstate 270 with the warning lights activated when it was struck by a second vehicle near Missouri State Route 180.
The driver of the International, 49-year-old Dave Gowe, sustained injuries in the accident. Gowe was transported by Robertson Fire Protection District to SSM Health DePaul Hospital for emergency care.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
