St Louis, MO (February 25, 2022) – A two-vehicle collision reported in the St Louis area late Thursday morning ended in injuries. At around 11:50 p.m., on February 24, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Interstate 270.
Reports from authorities show that a 2016 Jeep Compass and a 2015 Jeep Patriot were both traveling in lane one on the ramp from westbound Interstate 270 to southbound Interstate 170. For unknown reasons, the driver of the Compass lost control of their vehicle and struck the right guardrail. The vehicle then collided with the Patriot.
Two people in the Patriot were seriously injured. The driver of the Compass, 21-year-old Ronald Crenshaw, was transported to Christian Northeast Hospital with minor injuries. The Patriot’s two occupants, 45-year-old Latonya Nash and 53-year-old Tammy Jennings, were both transported to SSM Health DePaul Hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
