Car Accidents in Missouri
According to reports provided by the Missouri State Department of Public Safety, more than 55,000 people are injured in auto accidents throughout our state each year. Although many accidents resolve with only minor injuries, thousands of people are hospitalized with life-threatening injuries that require emergency and ongoing care.
People involved in collisions are often forced to spend tens of thousands of dollars on medical treatment and vehicle repairs while going without wages from work. Even though many injured victims have to take some time off work to recover from their injuries, numerous victims are left permanently disabled and unable to return to work after.
Being forced out of work to deal with these injuries can make it extremely challenging to cover the cost of care. When victims are injured in accidents, those harmed are able to pursue legal actions to obtain compensation to cover the financial burdens they face moving forward. Working with a knowledgeable and aggressive car accident attorney in the Alton area after your accident can greatly improve your chances of recovering.
