Car Accidents in Missouri
Thousands of motorists are involved in collisions throughout the state of Missouri each year. Some of the most common factors contributing to auto accidents in our state include:
- Failing to yield the right of way to others
- Driving while impaired
- Driving while distracted
- Speeding
Although not all accidents end in catastrophic injuries, a fair share of these accidents do force victims into area hospitals. In many cases, victims sustain broken bones, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and various other life-changing injuries that require extensive medical treatment. The unfortunate truth is that motor vehicle accidents impact more than just the mental and physical health and wellbeing of victims. Not only are accidents overwhelmingly painful, but they can be financially draining as well.
These collisions often force innocent victims into area hospitals where they have to undergo extensive medical treatment. Many victims require hospitalization and have to spend weeks or even months off work as they go through therapy and transition back into their normal routine. Regrettably, many victims never recover from their injuries and are left permanently disabled and out of work. When victims are injured in accidents as a result of other drivers, it is important that they seek the legal guidance of an Ash Grove car accident attorney as soon as possible.
