Bevier, MO (January 5, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Macon County left two people injured. At around 4:40 p.m., on January 4, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Route O.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada and a 1994 Buick Lesabre were involved in a collision on Route O just two miles north of Bevier after the driver of the Oldsmobile lost control of their vehicle and crossed over the centerline. The crash left both vehicles with extensive damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
Two people in the Buick were injured in the accident. The victims, 65-year-old Cindy Ray and 70-year-old Doyle Ray, were transported to Samaritan Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
