Bolivar, MO (January 12, 2022) – Two people were left with injuries following a two-vehicle accident in Polk County on Tuesday morning. At around 5:30 a.m., on January 11, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Route 32.
Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2009 Pontiac G6 was driving on Missouri State Route 32 when the driver swerved to avoid striking an object in the road. As a result, the vehicle collided with a 2015 Chevrolet 1500. The impact of the crash sent both vehicles off the road, just three miles east of Bolivar.
Two people involved in the crash were injured. EMS transported 40-year-old Steven Cole and 36-year-old Christopher Vastine to CMH Bolivar for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
