Boone, MO (January 2, 2022) – One man was hospitalized following a serious truck accident in Boone County on Friday, December 31. At around 5:40 a.m., authorities were notified that a crash on US Highway 63 required assistance.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a collision between a 1994 Ford F-150 and a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia took place on the northbound side of US Highway 63 near the intersection of Route CC.
The driver of the Ford, 20-year-old Cody Garrett, sustained injuries in the accident. He was transported to University Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
