Car Accidents in Missouri

Reports provided by the Missouri Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration show that the state of Missouri ranks 19th out of all 50 states for the likelihood of people being involved in fatal collisions. Between 2012 and 2014, more than 2,300 people lost their lives in accidents throughout the state. Thousands more are left with life-altering injuries that require extensive medical treatment. When victims break their bones or suffer traumatic head or neck injuries, they often need multiple surgeries and have to spend months off their feet or go to therapy.

Even though many injured victims have to take some time off work to recover from their injuries, numerous victims are left permanently disabled and unable to return to work after. When victims are injured in accidents resulting from the negligence of other motorists, it is important that they seek legal guidance as soon as possible. Victims may be entitled to compensation that can help cover the costs of care and other expenses moving forward.
