Camden, MO (January 11, 2022) – One woman was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following an auto accident in Camden County on Monday afternoon, January 10. At around 2 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was requested on-site at a crash on Missouri State Route 7.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2015 GMC Terrain and a 2013 Buick Lacrosse collided on Missouri State Route 7 just north on Concrete Drive. Reports show that the driver of the GMC slowed for a turning vehicle when they were rear-ended by the Buick.
The driver of the GMC, 30-year-old Megan Emmons, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Lake Regional Hospital for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
