Dixon, MO (January 9, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Maries County ended in injuries. At around 10:45 a.m., on January 7, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Highway 28.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between a 1998 Chevrolet 400 and a 2021 Kia Soul occurred on Missouri State Highway 28 just one-half mile east of Dixon.
The driver of the Kia, 72-year-old William Barbarick, was injured in the accident. He was transported to Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla, Missouri for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
