Franklin, MO (January 5, 2022) – Two women were left with injuries as a result of a two-vehicle crash in Franklin County on Tuesday morning, January 4. At around 8:45 a.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Highway YY.
Reports from local authorities indicate that a collision between a 2015 Ford Explorer and a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze occurred on Highway YY just west of Highway 185. The incident left both vehicles totaled, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Ford, 39-year-old Amanda Scott, and the passenger in the Chevrolet, 84-year-old Dorris Bade, were both injured. EMS transported the two victims to Mercy Washington for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
