Garden City, MO (January 9, 2022) – A crash reported in Cass County claimed one man’s life on Saturday morning, January 8. At around 9:45 a.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Highway 7.
Reports from authorities show that a 2004 Ford E350 Van and a 2018 Jeep Compass were involved in a collision on the southbound side of Missouri State Highway 7 in the area near South Chandler Road. The crash required both vehicles to be towed from the scene due to the extent of the damage.
The driver of the Jeep, 81-year-old Donald Dryden, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. Dryden was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
