Golden City, MO (January 4, 2022) – One man was transported to a local hospital with injuries following an auto accident in Barton County. At around 8 a.m., on January 3, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 160.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2011 Cadillac Deville and a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado collided on the highway after one vehicle crossed over the center lines.
The driver of the Deville, 64-year-old James Moore, was injured in the accident. He was transported to Cox Hospital in Lamar, Missouri for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
