Jackson, MO (January 8, 2022) – One woman was left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Cape Girardeau County on Tuesday morning. At around 7:15 a.m., on January 4, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Missouri State Route Y that required assistance.
Reports from authorities show that a 2005 Buick Rainier was traveling on Missouri Route Y when the driver failed to yield the right of way at Missouri State Route W. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a 2010 Ford Escape.
The driver of the Ford, 31-year-old Makenzie Seabaugh, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported by ambulance to St Francis in Cape Girardeau.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
