Kansas City, MO (January 10, 2022) – One man was left with moderate injuries following an auto accident in the Kansas City area. At around 6:45 a.m., on January 9, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 29.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2015 Ford Transit Van and a 2001 Lincoln Town Car were both traveling south on Interstate 29. As the Lincoln prepared to exit near 112th Street, it was rear-ended by the Ford.
The driver of the Lincoln, 60-year-old Donald Perkins, was injured in the accident. He was rushed to St Luke’s Hospital for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
