Jefferson, MO (January 8, 2022) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following an auto accident in Jefferson County. At around 6:47 p.m., on January 5, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on US Highway 67.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2016 Jeep Wrangler and a 2021 Cadillac Escalade were involved in a crash on the southbound side of US Highway 67. The incident caused delays in the area of Route CC as crews worked to remove both vehicles from the roadway.
A 17-year-old male and 25-year-old Hunter Hollingsworth were injured in the crash. The two victims were transported to Mercy Hospital – Jefferson for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
