Mount Mariah, MO (January 9, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Harrison County on Saturday afternoon sent two people to area hospitals with injuries. At around 3:35 p.m., on January 8, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on East 270th Street.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2014 Ford F-250 was traveling north on 330th Avenue. At the same time, a 2005 Chevrolet Impala was traveling west on 270th Street. As the two vehicles entered the intersection, the driver of the Ford failed to yield the right of way. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
Two people in the Chevrolet were injured. EMS transported a 14-year-old male and 18-year-old Cally Brandon to Harrison County Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
