Raymore, MO (January 2, 2022) – One woman was left with injuries following an accident in Cass County. At around 4:30 p.m., on January 1, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 49.
Reports from MSHP show that a 2021 Ford Explorer was stopped in the left lane of Interstate 49 near mile marker 170 with its emergency lights activated. For unknown reasons, a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt crashed into the vehicle.
The driver of the Ford, 36-year-old Kaylee Fox, sustained severe injuries in the accident. She was transported to Research Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
