Rocky Fork Township, MO (January 5, 2022) – A man and woman were both hospitalized with injuries following an auto accident in Boone County on Tuesday morning, January 4. At around 11:50 a.m., authorities were called to the site of a crash on Route B.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2003 Honda Accord was stopped near the area of Route B and East McGee Road during the late morning hours. For unknown reasons, a 2006 Saturn Vue crashed into the rear of the Honda.
The driver of the Honda, 36-year-old Amanda Davenport, and her passenger, 46-year-old Bruce Davenport, were both injured in the accident. Ms. Davenport was transported to University Hospital for care. Mr. Davenport was treated at the scene.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
