Rolla, MO (January 9, 2022) – One woman has lost her life following a motor vehicle accident in Phelps County on Saturday morning, January 8. At around 8:40 a.m., authorities were called to the site of a crash on Old St James Road.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that the driver of a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox turned in front of a 2008 Ford Ranger, causing the two vehicles to collide. The Ford then ran off the side of the roadway.
The driver of the Ford, 61-year-old Diana Flagg, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
