Savannah, MO (January 4, 2022) – Authorities were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident just outside of Savannah that left two women injured. At around 3:15 p.m., on January 3, emergency crews were notified that a crash occurred on Business 71 that required assistance.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2010 Ford was involved in a crash on Business 71 just two miles south of Savannah. The crash left the vehicle totaled, requiring it to be towed from the scene.
Two women involved in the crash were injured. Both 78-year-old Nancy Rockwood and 82-year-old Connie George were transported to Mosaic Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
