St Louis, MO (January 10, 2022) – Several people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in St Louis County. At around 11:10 a.m., on January 9, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Route 30.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that the driver of a 2015 GMC Terrain failed to yield the right of way to a 2009 Chevrolet Impala while traveling eastbound on Missouri State Route 30 near Interstate 270. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
Three people involved in the crash were injured. EMS transported 48-year-old Stacy Covey, 37-year-old Marissa Lawson, and an 11-year-old female to Mercy Hospital South for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
