Alexandria, MO – Cynthia Morse Injured in Crash on US-61 in Clark County

Alexandria, MO (July 28, 2022) – One woman was hospitalized following a motor vehicle accident in Clark County on Tuesday afternoon. At around 2 p.m., on July 26, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the site of a collision that occurred on US Highway 61.

Reports provided by MSHP trooper Smith show that a 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer was stopped in traffic on US Highway 61 just one mile north of Alexandria, Missouri. For unknown reasons, the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet suburban drove their vehicle into the rear of the Trailblazer. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene as a result of the damage suffered in the crash.

The driver of the trailblazer, 62-year-old Cynthia Morse, sustained injuries in the crash.

Morse, who is from Kahoka, Missouri, was transported to Blessing Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa, for emergency treatment of moderate injuries.

The crash is under investigation at this time.
