Boone, MO (July 15, 2022) – A crash that occurred in the Boone area sent one man to an area hospital with serious injuries. At approximately 11:45 a.m., on July 12, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was summoned to the site of the crash on Missouri State Route 22.
Preliminary investigations show that a collision between a 2011 Peterbilt 389 and a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer blocked the east downsides of Missouri State Route 22 just east of Sappington Road. Both vehicles sustained significant damage due to the crash and had to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 44-year-old Terry Reno, suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash. The victim, who is from Columbia, Missouri, was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for further medical care.
The crash remains under investigation at this time by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
