Branson, MO (July 12, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Taney County left one teen injured. Just after 10 p.m., on July 9, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a motor vehicle accident took place on Missouri State Route 76.

Reports provided by authorities show that a 2006 GMC Canyon was involved in a collision on Missouri State Route 76, just 4 miles east of Branson, Missouri. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch. The vehicle was totaled as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.

A 14-year-old male involved in the accident suffered serious injuries. The victim was transported by Taney County Ambulance District to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for emergency medical care.
