Cameron, MO (July 22, 2022) – A truck accident reported in Clinton County left one woman with injuries. At around 7:10 a.m., on July 21, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash took place on Interstate 35 that required assistance.
Trooper BT Quiring with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene and located a 2023 Freightliner in a 2006 and Lincoln navigator on the southbound side of the interstate following the collision. Investigations show that both vehicles were traveling on the southbound side of the interstate when the Lincoln experienced a tire blowout near mile marker 52. As a result, the vehicle partially traveled off the roadway and collided with the Freightliner.
One person involved in the accident suffered injuries. The victim, 41-year-old Blanca Perez Garcia, was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center by Cameron EMS for further treatment.
The crash remains under investigation at this time by troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
