Franklin, MO (July 25, 2022) – A crash reported on Saturday in Franklin County sent one man to a local hospital with serious injuries. At around 5:08 p.m., on July 23, emergency personnel received a request for assistance on-site at a crash on Interstate 44.

Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2011 Toyota tundra and a 2021 Mitsubishi outlander collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 44 near mile marker 239.4. Two tow trucks were dispatched to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.

The driver of the Toyota, 20-year-old Jack Porter, suffered serious injuries in the crash. Porter, who is from Rolla, Missouri, was transported by St. Clair Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, for emergency medical treatment.

The crash is under investigation at this time by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
