Highlandville, MO (July 27, 2022) – A crash reported in Christian County claimed one woman’s life. At around 6:15 p.m., on July 25, notifications of a crash on US Highway 160 came into the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately blocked off the roadway, just three miles south of Highlandville, Missouri. Preliminary reports show that a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis pulled into the path of a 2006 Toyota Tacoma. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
Three victims suffered significant injuries due to the accident. The victims, 29-year-old Derek Mullen, 58-year-old Kimberly Adams, and 68-year-old Sarah Marshall, were all transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Authorities confirm that Marshall passed away at the hospital after arriving.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently investigating this fatal crash.
