Houston, MO (July 10, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Texas County sent a woman and child to area hospitals with injuries. Just before 1:40 p.m., on July 9, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a crash on US Highway 63.
Reports provided by authorities so that a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling on US Highway 63 when he began to slow down for a turning vehicle just 1 mile south of Houston, Missouri.
For unknown reasons, the Chevrolet was struck by a 2022 Toyota Sienna. Both vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the accident.
Two people inside the Toyota were injured. EMS rendered aid to 28-year-old Cheyenne Tweedy and a one-year-old female on-site. The two victims were then transported by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
