Jefferson, MO (July 17, 2022) – A crash that occurred in Jefferson County sent one woman to an area hospital with significant injuries. On July 16, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was summoned to a crash site on US Highway 61/67 during the morning hours.
Reports provided by MSHP trooper D Crowell show that at approximately 10:40 a.m., a collision between a 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe in a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado was reported on US Highway 61/67 in the area of marble Springs Road. MSHP and firefighters closed off several lanes of the roadway as they worked to clear the scene. The Colorado went off the right side of the roadway.
A passenger inside the Colorado, 33-year-old Megan Przygoda, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. She was transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District for emergency medical assistance.
Missouri State Highway Patrol is conducting a crash investigation at this time.
