Jefferson, MO (July 11, 2022) – One man was left with significant injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Jefferson County. At around 9:35 a.m., on July 9, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a crash that occurred on Route B.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2019 Ford F2 50 and a 2001 Mazda B series collided on Route B, just south of Forest Drive. Both vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol in firefighters worked diligently to clear the scene as medical personnel rendered aid to one victim who suffered injuries in the accident.
The victim, 65-year-old Paul Comfort, was then transported by Valle Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South for emergency medical treatment.
