Jefferson, MO (July 1, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Jefferson sent three people to area hospitals with injuries. Around 10:45 a.m., on June 30, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a collision took place on US Highway 67 that required assistance.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2010 Dodge Caravan was traveling northbound on US Highway 67. As the vehicle approached Montauk Drive, it became involved in a collision with a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country. Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the accident and had to be removed from the scene.
A total of three people involved in the accident were injured. EMS rendered aid to 40-year-old Jodie Nash, 50-year-old Tony Rogers, and 73-year-old Charles Gandy at the scene. All three victims were then transported by Joachim Plattin ambulance district to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for emergency medical care.
At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
