Jefferson Township, MO (July 5, 2022) – Authorities were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident in Monroe County that left one teen injured. At around 1010 a.m., on July 4, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the site of a motor vehicle accident on Missouri Route Z.
Reports provided by MSHP show that a collision between a 2013 Ford Fusion and a 2018 Ford F450 took place on Missouri state route Z in the area just 7 miles east of Paris, Missouri. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage as a result of the accident. The vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Ford Fusion, a 17-year-old female, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to the University hospital for emergency medical treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
