Kansas City, MO – Three Injured in Auto Wreck on MO-350 near Colbern Rd

Kansas City, MO (July 23, 2022) – A vehicle collision reported in Jackson County left three people injured. Just before 11:10 p.m., on July 20, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Missouri State Route 350 that required assistance.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports indicate that a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu swerved to avoid hitting a deer on Missouri State Route 350 eastbound, in the area just east of Colbern Road. As a result, the Chevrolet collided with a 2009 Chevrolet HHR.

Three people involved in the crash were injured. Lee Summit Fire EMS treated 32-year-old Melissa Abbott, 32-year-old Bryson Washington, and 36-year-old Krystal King at the scene of the accident. The three victims were then transported to St. Joseph Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
