Lincoln, MO (July 16, 2022) – A crash involving two vehicles reported in Lincoln has sent one woman to a local hospital with injuries. At around 6:35 p.m., on July 13, the police and firefighters were summoned to the side of a crash that occurred on Highway Y.
Investigations performed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 and 2000 BMW 328 CI were both traveling southbound on Highway Y. As the BMW attempted to slow down for traffic in the area just east of ironweed Lane, it was struck by the GMC.
One person who was involved in the crash suffered injuries that required medical assistance. The victim, 19-year-old Stacie Goad, was transported to SSM Health St Joseph Hospital Lake St Louis by Lincoln County ambulance for emergency medical treatment.
Investigations to determine the cause of this two-vehicle crash are underway by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Our warmest thoughts are with Stacie Goad at this time as we hope for her full recovery.
