Mountain View, MO (July 17, 2022) – A major collision reported in Shannon County left several people injured. At around 9:45 a.m., on July 15, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to a crash that occurred on US Highway 60.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2016 Jeep Wrangler and a 2007 Dodge ram collided on the highway, just three miles east of Mountain View, Missouri. Gentlemen Jim’s of Mountain View responded to the scene to tell both vehicles due to the injury suffered in the crash.
A total of five people were harmed in the crash. Emergency medical services rendered aid to a 17-year-old male at the scene before he was flown out by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for the treatment of serious injuries. A second victim, 59-year-old Steven Prediger, was transported by Willow Springs EMS to Ozark’s healthcare in West Plains for the treatment of serious injuries. Three additional victims, 28-year-old Maria Martinez Pinzon, 32-year-old Carlos Ruiz Valdez, and 67-year-old Deborah Mattes were all treated at the scene.
The incident is under investigation at this time.
