Richmond Township, MO (July 20, 2022) – Multiple victims were transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a crash in Ray County. Just before 12:40 p.m., on July 19, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was sent to the site of a crash on Missouri State Route 10.
Reports from authorities show that a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado was attempting to make a left-hand turn at the intersection of Missouri State Route 10 and Missouri State Route 10 business when they became involved in a crash with a 2005 Honda Civic.
The crash left both vehicles with extensive damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
Four people involved in the crash were injured. EMS transported 22-year-old Mellani Nigh to Lafayette regional Hospital in Lexington for the treatment of injuries. Two other victims, 86-year-old Darwin Outersky and 87-year-old Sadie Outersky were both transported by Ray County ambulance to Liberty Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
The crash is under investigation at this time.
