Sand Creek, MO (July 14, 2022) – A motor vehicle collision reported in Ste Genevieve County left one teen injured. At around 4:35 p.m., on July 12, emergency crews were summoned to the site of a crash that occurred on Missouri State Route 32.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2017 Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on Missouri State Route 32, behind a 1990 Ford F150 pickup truck. As the Ford slowed to make a left turn, it was struck in the rear by the Honda. The impact of the crash caused the Ford to rotate clockwise off the South side of the roadway just east of Sand Creek.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Ford, a 17-year-old male, sustained injuries in the accident. The victim was transported by St. Francois County Ambulance District to Parkland Health Center for emergency medical treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
