Seneca, MO – Two Injured in Vehicle Collision on Old 60 Dr

Seneca, MO (July 24, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Newton County sent a man and woman to area hospitals with injuries. At around 1:20 p.m., on July 23, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash took place on Old 60 Drive that required assistance.

MSHP reports indicate that a 1998 Jeep Cherokee attempted to make a left turn from a private drive onto Old 60 Drive. As the vehicle pulled onto the roadway, it collided with a 2007 Ford Edge. Both vehicles sustained significant damage due to the crash and were required to be towed from the scene.

Two people were hurt in the crash. EMS transported 22-year-old Allison Ogle to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for care. The second victim, 36-year-old Timothy Maggard, was transported to Freeman Hospital in Neosho.

The incident is under investigation at this time.
