Sheldon, MO (July 14, 2022) – Authorities in Vernon County responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which one person was injured. Just after 4 p.m., on July 11, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was summoned to the side of a crash that occurred on Route B.
Reports provided by local authorities indicate that a 1996 GMC Sierra was slowing down to make a right turn off of Route B, just two miles east of Sheldon, Missouri. The GMC was then rear-ended by a 2017 Chevrolet Impala. Both vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the accident.
The driver of the GMC, 41-year-old Stephanie Mundy, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation.
