St Charles, MO – Auto Wreck on Route W near I-70 Leaves Man Injured

St Charles, MO (July 19, 2022) – One man was left injured following a two-vehicle crash that occurred in the St. Charles area on Saturday evening. Just before 9:30 p.m., on July 16, officials were dispatched to a crash that occurred on Route W in the St. Charles area.

Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2002 Honda CRV was stopped in traffic on Route W just north of Interstate 70. As the vehicle was partially in the roadway, it was struck by a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, which was operated by an inattentive driver. Both vehicles were totaled due to the crash.

One person involved in the accident suffered injuries. St. Charles County ambulance District transported 71-year-old Ricky Moesch to SSM health St. Joseph Lake St. Louis for further care.

The crash is under investigation at this time by local officials.
