St Louis, MO (July 14, 2022) – One person was left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place in St. Louis. At around 4:25 a.m., on July 13, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the site of a crash on Interstate 44.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2004 Ford escape was traveling on the left side of Interstate 44 westbound when it collided with a 2016 Mack CXU just east of Antire Road. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to travel off the left side of the roadway and crash into a cable barrier.
The driver of the Mack truck, 68-year-old Lowell Ross, suffered injuries as a result of the accident. Ross was transported by Fenton Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital South for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Lowell Ross at this time. We hope for his full recovery.
