Warrensburg, MO (July 18, 2022) – A crash reported in Johnson County sent one man to a local hospital with serious injuries. Around 5:20 a.m., on July 15, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a truck accident occurred on US Highway 50 that required assistance.

Preliminary investigations show that a collision between a 2015 Chevrolet and a 2001 Kenworth occurred on US Highway 50 at the intersection of Northwest 331 Road. Both vehicles suffered significant damage due to the collision.

The driver of the Chevrolet, 28-year-old Zachary Riley, suffered serious injuries in the accident. Riley, who is from Cole Camp, Missouri, was transported by JCAD to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, for emergency medical care.

The crash remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol at this time.
