Warsaw, MO (July 6, 2022) – One woman was left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Benton County. Just after 1 p.m., on July 3, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the site of a crash that occurred on Missouri State Route 7.
Reports provided by local authorities indicate that a 2003 Ford was traveling on Missouri State Route 7 when it attempted to cross over the highway near West Dam Access Road. As a result, the vehicle collided with a 2013 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene by Twin Lakes towing.
One person involved in the accident was injured. EMS rendered aid to 69-year-old Lora Mitchell at the scene. She was then transported to Golden Valley hospital for further treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
