Allendale, MO (June 29, 2022) – A collision reported in Worth County claimed the lives of two people while leaving two others injured. At around 720 p.m., on June 28, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on County Road 170.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2017 Ford F3 50 pickup truck and a 2014 Honda ATV collided on County Road 170 just 1.8 miles east of Missouri State Route C. Both vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the accident. The Honda overturned as a result of the collision.
Four people involved in the accident were injured. EMS transported 37-year-old Robert Moad, 41-year-old Melissa Percell, and 55-year-old Zeluma Mederos to Mosaic hospital of Albany for emergency medical care. The fourth victim, 52-year-old Jorge Calvo, was airlifted by MU Health Care Life Flight to Methodist Hospital in Iowa for emergency medical treatment.
Authorities confirm that Mederos and Calvo succumbed to their injuries after arriving.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
