Excello, MO (June 16, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Macon County sent one man and one child to area hospitals with injuries. Just after 4 p.m., on June 11, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on US Highway 63.
Reports provided by authorities show that a rear-end collision between a 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck and an RG31 Military vehicle occurred on US Highway 63 just 1 mile north of Excello, Missouri. The Dodge suffered significant damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Two people inside the pickup truck suffered moderate injuries as a result of the crash. EMS transported 50-year-old Patrick Johnston and an 11-year-old male to University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, for emergency medical attention.
