Franklin, MO (June 6, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident involving a truck reported in the Franklin area on Friday afternoon sent one woman to a local hospital with injuries. At around 2:55 p.m., on June 3, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 44.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2015 Kenilworth Conventional truck was traveling on Interstate 44 when it experienced an equipment failure near mile marker 247. As a result, the truck rolled into the path of a 2019 Ford Explorer, resulting in both vehicles colliding. The Ford sustained moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene.
A passenger in the Ford, 53-year-old Cynthia Crouch, sustained injuries in the accident. Crouch was transported to Mercy Hospital in Washington for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation
Our thoughts are with Cynthia Crouch at this time. We hope for her full recovery.
