Car Accidents in Missouri
Every year, tens of thousands of people allow for significant injuries as a result of motor vehicle accidents across the state of Missouri. These crashes are often caused by drivers who choose to engage in reckless and negligent actions. Some of the leading causes of collisions that we see in our state include:
- drivers who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol while behind the wheel
- drivers who speed or drive too fast for road conditions and in inclement weather
- drivers who fail to yield to others while sharing the roadway
- drivers who are distracted by their phones, food, or other objects or people
When people negligently control their vehicles, they place the lives of others sharing the road at risk. As a result, we see thousands of people hospitalized with broken bones, traumatic brain injuries, and internal organ damage every single month. Innocent people who are injured in accidents due to the negligence of others often have legal options available to help them move forward.
