Henrietta, MO – Earl Griffith Loses Life in Crash on MO-13 near Route J

Henrietta, MO (June 29, 2022) – One man has lost his life after a motor vehicle accident in Ray County. At around 6:15 p.m., on June 26, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Missouri State Route 13.

Reports provided by authorities show that a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup truck in a 2003 John Deere tractor collided on the northbound side of Missouri State Route 13 in the area of Route J. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and had to be towed from the scene.

The driver of the John Deere, 62-year-old Earl Griffith, suffered severe injuries in the accident. He was transported by Ray County ambulance to Ray County Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
